New BVN Flow Update

There was a potential security breach with how customers were signing up on the platform.
We identified a way that customers were initially able to bypass BVN verification and either use someone else’s BVN or put in a wrong BVN verification.
This was a potential point of allowing fraudulent customers to be get access to loans.
To ensure a strong security check, we had to isolate BVN verification step to be done in isolation before allowing the customer to proceed.
We initially had the page shown below, as the first page the customer interacted with during sign which was responsible for both creating the customers account and BVN verification.
We have now update the sign up flow to first have the page shown below as the first page the customer interacts with.
Immediately the customer is done with BVN verification, only then will they be allowed to proceed to the next page and in the event they change the BVN details, they are redirected back to the BVN verification page again as can be viewed in the video below.
